Father MC

Discovered in the early 1990's by Sean "Puffy" Combs, Timothy Brown, better known as the American rapper Father MC, has been a highly influential force in rap music over the past two decades and was instrumental in exposing new talents such as Mary J. Blige and the R&B act Jodeci. Combining elements of hip-hop and new jack swing, Father MC rose high in the charts with tunes such as "Treat Them Like They Want to Be Treated," "I'll Do 4 U" and "Lisa Baby," cementing his stature in the hip hop pantheon.
