Hailing from Hackensack, New Jersey, The Moments were one of the most consistently rewarding R&B vocal groups of the 1970's with a string of major hits gracing the R&B charts. In 1978 members Harry Ray, Al Goodman, and William Brown changed their billing to Ray, Goodman & Brown and continued to top the soul lists through the 1980's.
