Sole Soma recalls first falling in love with her native Congolese music as a child, then Caribbean music from her short stay in the Bahamas. In Miami as a teen, she drifted toward the Euro-pop sound and underground dance music scene and eventually fell in love with house music. She most enjoyed music that leaned in a tropical direction which somehow reminded her of her youth. A natural born vocalist, Soma began writing lyrics and music in her late teens and then started performing - first at house parties and then a few select nightclubs, and began to develop a fervent following. A modern take on classic house, the enthralling single "Move" sets the stage for her upcoming full-length release "Pleasure No Pressure."
