Russell Dabney, the talented drummer for 80's funk/dance outfit Gypsy Lane, recorded his first and only single in 1983 for the legendary Street Level label. Recorded in Philadelphia, mixed in New York and released in Canada, "In the Middle of the Night" has become a rare funk and boogie classic, highly sought after in collector's circles. Presented here is the original 12" maxi single, complete with bonus instrumental, acappella and club mix. All selections newly re-mastered.
